GÖP’te 2 Milyon Kilit, 2 Milyon Avans: EPİAŞ İkisini Aynı Anda Almaz

On Monday a supplier buys 2 million TL of electricity on the DAM. Two million is locked at Takasbank. Tuesday delivery ends. Wednesday 14:30 the advance is posted. Thursday 15:00 two million cash leaves. Finance asks: “Did they take the collateral too?” No. The lock stays; the cash is Tuesday’s energy bill. If you also sold that week, EPİAŞ pays you by 17:00 the same settlement day. Mixing the two causes a cash crunch, a 17:00 IDM stop and an 11:00 DAM ban the next morning. Our PTF Makası 2026 rehberimizde covered hourly prices; this piece splits lock versus cash.

Why lock and advance get mixed up

Both sit on EPİAŞ screens and at Takasbank; both are “millions of TL”. The purpose differs. Collateral must already be posted before DAM bids; the 12:30–13:00 check uses the previous 14:30 figure. After a match the required lock often rises — “I bought, so collateral dropped” is wrong. The advance is the full net DAM/IDM amount of the ended delivery day, not a 50% down payment. SKTT ve Serbest Tüketici 2026 rehberimizde is the consumer bill; this is market settlement.

Monday buy → Thursday 15:00: four days

Monday’s session delivers Tuesday. If the old lock passes 12:30–13:00, the bid stands; 13:30/14:00 the match is final. 14:30 publishes the new required lock — you are not cut off yet; same-day 17:00 IDM and Tuesday 11:00 DAM+IDM use that figure. Letters by 16:30, cash/bonds by 17:00 at Takasbank. Tuesday the energy flows; cash still waits. Wednesday 14:30 the advance notice writes Tuesday’s delivery. Thursday 15:00 the buy is paid. GÖGİ still looks at the last k trade days; paying does not drop the lock at once.

You have 2 million locked; EPİAŞ wants 5 million

A match does not disconnect you at once. At 14:30 the shortfall is 3 million. The window is 17:00 the same day (IDM) and 11:00 the next business day. If you do not top up, they do not seize 3 million from elsewhere; the bid gate closes. The matched buy stands. That week you may need lock plus advance: one stays, one leaves. GÖGİ follows the 23 Oct 2025 method; k depends on the TKN band and holidays. The official number is the PYS/EPYS and DAM collateral balance.

You sold: when does the cash arrive?

The same delivery day can have buys and sells. Net advance is buy minus sell, but the two cash directions must stay visible. You pay buys at 15:00. EPİAŞ pays sales by 17:00 the same business day. The session is the day before delivery. A Sunday delivery (Saturday session) can shift to Tuesday 17:00 after a weekend. “I sold, so the lock vanished” is also wrong: the formula uses net-debt days; a receipt is not a release.

What should the software show?

  • Today’s DAM session and the table’s delivery day must be labelled apart; a 14th session delivers on the 15th.
  • Official required / available / shortfall should be visible before the 17:00 and 11:00 checks.
  • The advance calendar should map delivery to 15:00 pay and 17:00 receive, with buy and sell in separate columns.
  • The lock must not read as an invoice; the amount you must top up stays its own figure.
