Sungrow Inverter Monitoring and Production Tracking

ENOPTIMAL production monitoring for Sungrow inverters: live power, energy meters and MPPT data are collected over MQTT from the Modbus register map.

Protocol: Modbus RTU (hybrid/on-grid profiles), register polling over MQTT

Sungrow + ENOPTIMAL integration

ENOPTIMAL uses the profile-based register sets in the SUNGROW-MODBUS-MAPPING document. SungrowModbusResponseHandler handles hybrid and on-grid profiles separately. A generic poll buffer reads multiple register groups in a cycle.

Production monitoring benefits

Production performance, MPPT efficiency, charge/discharge tracking on battery-integrated sites, and plant-level production reporting for Sungrow PV and hybrid plants.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about Sungrow inverters

Sungrow Modbus/MQTT integration and production monitoring.

Are Sungrow hybrid inverters compatible with ENOPTIMAL?

Yes. Sungrow hybrid profiles (catalog records whose ModbusProfile contains “Hybrid”) are polled on a separate plan. Battery SOC, grid import/export and PV production are parsed on the hybrid profile.

How many Sungrow models are in the catalog?

Sungrow catalog migrations define the full on-grid and hybrid series. Each model is polled with its own Modbus profile; unsupported models are not opened for live monitoring until they are added to the catalog.

How are Sungrow inverter faults reported?

Device status and alarm codes read from Modbus registers are synced by InverterAlarmSyncService. Critical faults appear on the production monitoring panel and in the notification system.
