SMA + ENOPTIMAL integration

ENOPTIMAL uses the register sets in the SMA-EDMX-MODBUS-MAPPING and SMA-ENNEXOS documents. SmaTelemetryParser inside RawModbusResponseHandler parses PV power, grid voltage/current, energy meters and MPPT channel data. The MQTT path runs through an RS485-WiFi module.

Are SMA EDMx and ennexOS models supported?

Yes. SMA EDMx Data Manager and ennexOS-profile inverters are defined in the catalog. Each profile is polled with its own Modbus register group; registers outside the SMA documents are not parsed.

How is an SMA inverter connected over MQTT?

The SMA RS485 port connects to the MQTT broker through a WaveShare module. The backend sends register-read commands on a 60-second polling cycle; replies are processed by SmaTelemetryParser.

Which metrics are monitored on SMA inverters?

PV array power, grid voltage/current/frequency, daily and total energy production, MPPT channel power and device status. Data is shown as charts in the production management module.
