Kstar Inverter Monitoring and Production Tracking

ENOPTIMAL production monitoring for Kstar on-grid and hybrid inverters: live power and energy data are collected from the KSG-series Modbus register map.

Protocol: Modbus RTU (KSG-series register map), data transfer over MQTT

Kstar + ENOPTIMAL integration

ENOPTIMAL uses the register set in the KSTAR-KSG1-MODBUS-MAPPING document for Kstar KSG1/KSG inverters. KstarModbusResponseHandler parses Modbus RTU replies arriving over MQTT. String-channel power, total AC power and daily/total energy meters are monitored.

Production monitoring benefits

String-level performance tracking, inverter fault/alarm sync, production-loss analysis and O&M reporting on Kstar PV sites. Multi-inverter plants are managed from a central dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about Kstar inverters

Kstar Modbus/MQTT integration and production monitoring.

How is a Kstar inverter defined in ENOPTIMAL?

During inverter setup, pick the Kstar model from the catalog; the Modbus profile is assigned automatically. Polling starts when the RS485-WiFi module connects to the backend over MQTT. A wrong profile causes an illegal-address error; catalog selection is required.

Is the Kstar KSG1-250K supported?

Yes. The KSG1-250K and other KSG-series models are defined in the inverter catalog. Each model is polled with its own register map; registers outside the Kstar document are not queried.

Which metrics are monitored on Kstar inverters?

Live AC power, daily and total energy production, string/MPPT channel power, device status and fault codes. Data is shown as charts and tables in the production management module.
